Maybe.  The department allows some latitude in its application for an occupational license.  You would be allowed to drive for school (furthering your education or a course of study), grocery shopping, going to church and other household type duties.  On the other hand, driving to go to a movie or on vacation would not be allowed.  You are required to list all uses of the occupational license on the application.
